Extras you can add to your ceremony

Your family and guests will love being involved in your wedding ceremony rather than 'just sitting there watching'. They love to be included in your day and your journey.
Handfasting

A handfasting ceremony dates back to the time of the ancient Celts - the couple were literally tied by a knot.

Now a handfasting ceremony is only used symbolically and can be a lovely part of the ceremony. The bride and groom’s hands are joined together with cords of different colours signifying different meanings.

I have brilliant ideas on how to include your family and loved ones in

this ceremony. It will make your day very memorable. Let your family help you tie the knot.

Sand ceremony

Is the beach special to you? Are you getting married on a beach? Why not combine shells and sand in a unity vessel to keep forever.

The bride and groom pour a small container of sand (often two different colors) into a larger container to symbolize their "coming together" as a couple. This practice is particularly meaningful if you're tying the knot on a beach or want to use sand from a hometown or favorite vacation spot.

Often special people also pour sand into the container. Maybe this could be something for your grandparents parents or children could participate in too.

I can tell you about a lot of extras you can add to your wedding ceremony which can include your special people if you choose.
